Another key inspiration comes from beach days, where, as a child, time felt infinite. After exhilarating hours in the waves, I'd lie on my towel, ear to the ground, captivated by the subtle sounds resonating through the sand. I'd even experiment with my vision, mesmerized by the entoptic phenomena, a visual spectacle I now understand but then simply found enchanting. The sense of falling asleep in the hot car on the way back, skin dry with salt and sand, completes this tapestry of memories.
Spanning genres from bass and breakcore to drum and bass, IDM, leftfield bass, and deconstructed club music, "Solarized Sonic Memory" exists in the pulsating range of 160 to 200 BPM. Each track aims to evoke these unique, vivid moments, inviting listeners into a deeply personal, yet universally resonant, journey.
His musical journey began at 14, when he independently experimented with electronic music tools. A significant influence on his musical identity came from his father, who introduced him to early IDM artists like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and Venetian Snares, alongside the improvisational spirit of free and UK Jazz.
Circular Square's current sound is a testament to his unique approach: he hybridizes and deconstructs diverse music genres, seamlessly blending elements of drum and bass, breaks, bass music, IDM, dubstep, and hyperpop. He approaches music with mathematical precision, embracing randomness and generated systems to disrupt conventional loops, unlock new sonic possibilities, and cultivate "happy accidents" that surprise and engage.
His creations are designed for experimental club enthusiasts who crave intricate rhythms and profound bass. Yet, his music also retains a distinct IDM sensibility, inviting listeners on an introspective journey into his digital world. Here, time becomes fluid, and every sonic object undergoes a captivating evolution.
Beyond his personal projects, Circular Square has been actively involved in mastering for the past five years. He serves as the sound engineer for independent labels such as Le Pacifique Records, Grid.avi, ERG Melody, MONTAGE, Blue Night Jungle, and 10.60Hz.

Circular Square “4KO-L3” (Crux Azul)
After debuting on Crux Azul last year with the impressive 3-HT-( xon) EP, Brussels-based producer Circular Square has followed it up with 12 . 5h -60° SQ3, another
collection of razor-sharp club hybrids. The whole EP is excellent, but “4KO-L3” opens
the record with a bang, its neck-snapping breakbeats swaddled in the most sinister
of bass wubs. Light-hearted it is not, but while most artists employing this sort of
sound palette wind up sounding needlessly aggro, this tune feels remarkably limber,
its digital crunch retaining an observable spring in its step. The predominant vibe still
leans evil, but Circular Square doles it out with a wry smile on his face.
